About this event

McAllen lights its giant digital Christmas tree to open the South Pole Illuminated Festival. The city hasn't announced the 2026 date or time yet. Last year's lighting was the Friday after Thanksgiving at 6 p.m., so this listing sits on that day as a placeholder until the city confirms.
