๐ Indian Food Arrives in Downtown Brownsville: Leo's Grill Opens at 7th & Park
Leo and Latha Titus opened Leo's Grill in Port Isabel less than two years ago. Now Brownsville has one of its own.
The couple launched a takeout food trailer next to the 7th & Park coffee and bike shop at 1554 E. Seventh St., right across from Linear Park. Everything is cooked on site.
If you're new to Indian food, Latha suggests starting with the butter chicken or chicken tikka masala. The house favorites are chicken chettinad, Madras chicken curry, lamb curry and coconut shrimp curry.
One heads-up: the trailer carries most of the Port Isabel menu, but not the naan. That's baked in a clay oven too big for the trailer.
Open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Call (956) 299-9899.
