Rebecca's has served traditional, home-cooked Mexican food for breakfast, lunch and dinner since January 2016. Two sisters run it in honor of their mother, Rebecca Cisneros Jasso, and it's known for cabrito asado, grilled over mesquite for two hours.

Stefano's Brooklyn Pizza on West Business 83 has made Brooklyn-style brick-oven pizza in Harlingen since 2012, along with calzones, sandwiches and wings. It offers dine-in, takeout, delivery and catering.

Aces BBQ on East Nolana serves brisket, pulled pork, ribs and sausage alongside Mexican plates, tacos and sandwiches like The Ace and a brisket torta. Other Aces locations are in Mission and Edinburg.

Black Diamond BBQ on North Bicentennial Boulevard has smoked brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chicken, turkey and sausage since 2018, with daily lunch specials, curbside pickup and catering.
