Moments of Expression: VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Veterans Creative Arts Competition Exhibition

The San Benito Cultural Arts Center is proud to host the Moments of Expression exhibition, showcasing the artistic talents of local veterans.

 

This compelling exhibit features original works from participants in the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Veterans Creative Arts Competition, highlighting the diverse creativity within our veteran community.

 

The exhibition runs from November 20, 2025, through January 17, 2026, at the San Benito Cultural Arts Center, located at 225 E. Stenger Street.

 

Visitors can explore a variety of art forms, including visual arts, creative writing, music, and more, each piece reflecting the unique experiences and perspectives of our veterans.

 

According to recent reports, the opening reception on November 20th was a resounding success, drawing community members eager to support and celebrate the artistic achievements of local veterans.

 

Dr. Jessica Carmona, Acting Local Recovery Coordinator at VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System, emphasized the importance of such events, stating, "Projects like these reaffirm our commitment to supporting veterans' well-being and the fostering of spaces where their experiences can be shared and witnessed."

 

The exhibition is open to the public during regular museum hours: Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

Admission is included with the regular San Benito Cultural Heritage Museum fee.
